Privacy notice

How this website handles information about you — what we collect, why, and what we deliberately do not do.

The short version

• We do not sell your personal information. We never have.
• Prescription refill and transfer requests are sent to a protected pharmacy mailbox and are not stored in this website’s database.
• Health information you give us is never passed to our website analytics.
• We use analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. That is all it is for.

What we collect

When you fill in a form

Our refill and transfer forms ask for what the pharmacy needs to act on your request — your name, date of birth, contact details, the pharmacy you use, and prescription details. The contact form asks only for your name, contact details and your message.

Form submissions are emailed straight to the pharmacy and are not retained on this website. The website does not keep a copy in its database. Once the email leaves the site, your information lives in our pharmacy systems and in our email system, which is covered by a signed Business Associate Agreement.

Automatically, when you visit

Like most websites, our web server records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and to investigate faults and abuse.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages people read, which they leave, whether the site works on their device. Analytics tells us about pages and patterns, not about individuals.

We do not send health information, prescription details, or anything you type into a form to Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them to keep the site working correctly and, through analytics, to tell a returning visit from a new one. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some things may be less convenient.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We use your information to answer you, to process the request you made, to run and secure this website, and to meet our legal and professional obligations as a licensed pharmacy.

Who else sees it

We share information only where it is needed to serve you or required of us:

• Our pharmacy staff, to act on your request.
• Suppliers who run parts of our service — our website host and our email provider. Where they may handle health information, a Business Associate Agreement is in place.
• Where the law requires it — for example a lawful request from a regulator or court.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

How long we keep it

Website logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Pharmacy records are kept for as long as Florida law and professional practice standards require, which is longer, and is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the pharmacy mailbox is restricted to staff who need it and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and review it.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it. Parents and guardians can of course use the site on a child’s behalf.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep. For health records, the rights set out in our Notice of Privacy Practices apply and are stronger.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update this page. Significant changes will be flagged here.
