If you are uninsured, in a Medicare coverage gap, or your copay is higher than the medicine actually costs, ask us for our cash price before you fill. It is often lower than you expect, and our discount pricing is available at every location.

Who this is for
- Patients with no prescription coverage
- Anyone in the Medicare Part D coverage gap
- Anyone whose copay is more than the cash price — this happens more often than people think
- Patients on a high-deductible plan early in the year
- Anyone paying for a medicine a plan will not cover
TrumpRx cards and vouchers
We accept TrumpRx cards and vouchers at every store. Bring the card or the code and we will apply it.
Just ask
We cannot publish a price list — costs move, and what you pay depends on the strength and the quantity. What we can do is tell you the price on the phone in under a minute, before you commit to anything. Call your store, tell us the medicine and the dose, and we will check.
Paying cash for a medicine does not stop you using insurance for everything else. We can run each prescription whichever way is cheaper for you.
How the plan works
A flat-price list of common generic medicines for patients paying cash. No membership fee, no card to carry, no sign-up — just ask whether what you take is on it.
Who it is for
- If you have no insurance, this is usually the cheapest route for routine medicines.
- If you have insurance, it can still be cheaper. For some common generics a flat cash price comes in below a fixed copay, and you are allowed to choose whichever is less.
- If you are in a deductible phase and paying full price anyway, it is worth checking every time.
The question worth asking
“What is the cash price?” Four words, and they occasionally save real money. Pharmacists can tell you and can let you take whichever option is cheaper.
One thing to weigh: paying cash usually does not count towards your plan deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. If you are likely to hit either this year, running it through insurance may still be better overall. Ask and we will think it through with you.
Other ways we bring the price down
- TrumpRx cards and vouchers — accepted at all five pharmacies.
- Manufacturer coupons for brand-name medicines. Eligibility is wider than most people assume and we check routinely.
- A cheaper equivalent — sometimes a closely related medicine costs a fraction of the price and your prescriber is happy to switch.
- Patient assistance programs, for people who genuinely cannot afford a medicine they need. Underused, mostly because people do not like to ask.
Tell us if a price is a problem
We cannot act on what we do not know, and an independent pharmacy has room to take the time a chain cannot. Quite often there is something we can do. When there is not, we will say so plainly rather than let you leave wondering.
Call your pharmacy and ask about the generic plan.
