Insurance accepted

We are in network with every major prescription plan in Florida, including Medicare Part B, Medicare Part D and Florida Medicaid. If you are not sure whether we take yours, call your store and read us the name on the card — it takes a minute to check.

Plans we bill

If it is a Florida plan, we almost certainly take it. These are the ones we bill most often, as health plans or through their pharmacy benefit managers:

Aetna

Ambetter

CarePlus

Cigna

CVS Caremark

Express Scripts

Florida Blue (Blue Cross Blue Shield)

Freedom Health

Humana

Molina Healthcare

OptumRx

Simply Healthcare

Sunshine Health

UnitedHealthcare

… and many more

This is not the full list, and networks change from plan year to plan year. If yours is not here, it does not mean we cannot take it — call your store and read us the name on the card.

County and local plans

We also bill local programs. The Hillsborough County Health Care Plan is accepted at Brandon Pharmacy and Compounding and Riverview Pharmacy and Compounding, the two stores inside Hillsborough County. We bill county and local programs in Lee County too — ask your store which ones it is set up for.

Networks are contracted store by store, so a plan we take at one pharmacy is not automatically one we take at another. Call the store you want to use and we will check before you move anything.

Before you transfer

There is no need to transfer blind. Call us with your plan name and the medications you take, and we will tell you whether we are in network and roughly what your copays will look like.

If your copay seems high

Ask us for the cash price. It is sometimes lower than the copay your plan has set, particularly on older generics, and you are allowed to pay cash even when you have insurance. We will run it whichever way costs you less, and we will tell you which that is without being asked.

  • Discounted cash pricing at all five stores
  • A generic savings plan for patients without coverage
  • TrumpRx cards and vouchers accepted
  • Manufacturer copay cards applied where they are allowed

Medicare patients

We handle Part D and, for the items it covers, Part B. If you reach the coverage gap and your costs jump, come and talk to us — a medication review often finds something that can be changed, and we can tell you what the cash price would be instead.

Not sure if we take your plan?

Call us and ask. Plans change their networks every year, often without telling patients clearly, and the list above cannot keep up with every variation. One phone call settles it in a minute.

Tell us the plan name on your card and the pharmacy you want to use, and we will tell you straight away whether we are in network — and if we are not, what your options are.

  • If we are in network, we can transfer your prescriptions for you. You do not need to contact your old pharmacy.
  • If we are not, we will tell you honestly. Sometimes our cash price still beats an in-network copay, particularly on generics, and we will check that for you rather than let you assume.
  • If you have no insurance, ask about our discount generic plan.

Find your pharmacy’s number on the locations page, or send us a message and we will come back to you.
